How We Use Your Data

At Fulcra, your ownership of and sovereignty over any data you share with us is an unshakable core and guiding principle. You, the Fulcra user, have the ultimate authority over the data your life creates and that you share with us for safekeeping in your Fulcra Data Store (your “Personal Data”).

Here are some of our key principles:

Data Sovereignty: In all our data handling practices, we uphold the principle of data sovereignty. We believe that you should have ultimate authority and control over the uses of your data, and we commit to respect and protect this right.

Data Retention: As long as you're a Fulcra user, our Platform will securely store your Personal Data, so you can preserve it for the future, use it with our tools and services, and, if you decide, share it with other tools and services.

Data Sharing: Our platform allows you to choose to share parts of your Personal Data with others, or connect it to tools and services that you choose so you can explore and make use of that data your life creates. The platform is designed so that you can keep track of this sharing and revoke access to shared data at any time, keeping your Personal Data and its uses firmly under your control.

Using Your Data: We will provide you with the tools to provide all or some of your Personal Data to third party tools and services. If you request, we will provide you with an export of all of your data.

Least Privilege: When it comes to uses of or access to your data, we adhere to the 'Least Privilege' principle. This means that we grant access to your Personal Data only to those specific elements of our system, and specific personnel, that absolutely need it to provide you with the services you've chosen. We minimize access to your data to the furthest extent possible, reducing the risk of unauthorized data exposure or breach. If an employee doesn’t need access to your data to perform their job, they don’t have access.

Data Deletion: As the owner of your data, you have the right to request that we delete your Personal Data at any time. The same applies if you decide to delete your account. We will honor these requests promptly, acknowledging your sovereignty over your data. Please understand that due to the nature of data storage and backup systems, this process might not be immediate, but we will let you know when the process is complete.

Anonymized Data: We may use anonymized, aggregated data to help us improve our Services. We never use your Personal Data, however, for these improvements. Your Personal Data is yours and yours alone. We are committed to never sharing it with any other company or service for any reason outside the scope of our Service, or without your permission. Your data is not a commodity for us - it's an integral part of your identity, and we respect that in every way possible.

Post Account Termination: After account termination or deactivation, we respect your data sovereignty by handling any remaining Personal Data with utmost confidentiality, in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws. We reserve the right to delete all of your Personal Data post account termination, further acknowledging your sovereignty over your data.

After you leave our service or request that we delete your data, we may retain anonymized, aggregated data derived from all of the data provided to the Platform, or your usage of the Platform. This data is 'De-Identified', meaning it cannot be traced back to you, does not include your individual, personal details or data points,  and is used only to improve our service and for internal reporting.

We continually review our policies to ensure we offer the best protection for you and your data. Trust is the bedrock of our relationship, and we work tirelessly to preserve it.

For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.
